The independent choice for Parks division

Local business owner and community advocate committed to transparency, support for small businesses and practical solutions for Oxford.

I’m standing as an independent candidate for the Parks Division because I’m tired of seeing the County Council make poor decisions that are out of touch with the people it’s meant to serve.

Oxford deserves better - a council that listens, acts transparently, and supports the communities and small businesses that keep this city alive. Our neighbourhoods thrive when local businesses are allowed to thrive. They create jobs, contribute to the local economy, and bring life, warmth and identity to the places we call home.

As a local resident in the division and owner of independent business Hoyle’s on the High Street, I see first-hand how damaging disconnected policy-making can be. That’s why I’m running: to bring common sense, accountability and real-world experience to local government.
